    There is no cure for Autism. However, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is widely known as a safe and effective treatment for Autism. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is endorsed by many organizations such as the United States Surgeon General, American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Psychological Association.
  3. What do ABA programs focus on?
    ABA programs are individualized and focus on skills that are necessary for an individual to achieve their fullest potential. Areas of focus may include: communication skills, social skills, play skills, adaptive skills and academic skills. In addition, ABA programs also focus on decreasing maldapative behaviors that may interfere with the learning process.
  4. How can my child receive ABA services from Positive Solutions, Inc.?
    A diagnosis of autism is required in order to receive a referral for ABA services. Once a referral has been received, an in-take appointment is scheduled. Following the in-take appointment, a formal assessment will begin, resulting in a proposed treatment plan and recommendation of services. Start of treatment is dependent on authorization from your funding source and availability.
